About The Position

Under the direction of the supervisor, workers perform production, maintenance or janitorial duties as assigned to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, yield and Cost goals. Each operator is responsible for and has the necessary authority to ensure quality, including stopping production to correct quality non-conformance.

Requirements

• Uses appropriate safety measures
• Uses appropriate measurement equipment and techniques as trained
• Records and maintains documentation and data as required.
• Follows applicable work instructions.
• Uses good housekeeping skills to maintain the work area.
• Follows directions and instructions of all supervisory personnel.
• Maintains good relations with co-workers, management and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Nice To Haves

• Band all finished coils from 1603 and 1604 Levelwinders.
• Stack finished coils on pallets.
• Move full pallets to proper storage area.
• Assist levelwind operators as needed.
• Keep assigned machinery and work area neat, clean, and orderly.
