About The Position

This role involves operating a computerized bander to apply banding to kitchen parts, doors, and stock according to company quality standards. The technician is responsible for selecting the correct programs, ensuring proper banding is loaded, maintaining glue levels, and performing operator maintenance to keep the machine in optimal condition. Meeting shift targets and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement, teamwork, and self-motivation are key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

Operating a computerized bander, select the correct program for the job (i.e. selecting programs for veneer or melamine).
Ensure correct banding is loaded.
Maintain proper glue levels in the machine.
Band kitchen parts, doors and stock to the quality standard set by the company.
Ensure targets are met each shift.
Ensure bander is kept in optimal operating condition by performing operator maintenance and making adjustments.
