The Level II NDE Technician will provide field and/or shop work in one or more of the following non-destructive testing techniques: Ultrasonic (UTT) ~ Radiography (RT) ~ Magnetic Particle (MT) ~ Dye Penetrant (PT). For individuals hired to perform Level II Radiography, responsibilities include operating and maintaining radiographic equipment, being trustworthy and reliable per NRC criteria, transporting industrial radiographic equipment in accordance with all applicable regulations, utilizing equipment as prescribed by the manufacturer and regulations, maintaining constant surveillance and control of equipment, securing equipment from unauthorized removal, preventing unauthorized personnel from restricted areas, preventing damage, loss, or theft of equipment, providing notification to safety management in the event of an incident, providing direct and constant supervision of assistant radiographers/trainees, and verifying that radiographic operations comply with company procedures and jurisdictional regulations.
