About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Level II MT/PT/UTT/PMI Technician for a temporary project in Midland, TX. This role supports the Asset Integrity Management team by performing assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and job requirements. The project is expected to last 3-4 weeks, beginning mid-late July.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience.
• ASNT Level II certification in MT, PT & UTT (required).
• Valid TWIC card (required).
• Able to pass physical exam.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors.
• Ability to solve technical issues in the field.
• Must be willing to travel.

Nice To Haves

• Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus.
• PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform various nondestructive inspections at a client facility under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently.
• Prepare NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner.
• Interface with clients on technical matters involving NDE procedures and capabilities.
• Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers.
• Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE technologies that may be applicable in our business.
• Apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test results.
• Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors.
