About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Level II MT/PT/UTT/PMI Technician to join our Asset Integrity Management team for a temporary 3-4 week project in Midland, TX, beginning mid-late July. The technician will perform assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and job requirements. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, willingness to travel, and additional NDT certifications are a plus.

Requirements

• ASNT Level II certification in MT, PT & UTT (required)
• Valid TWIC card (required)
• Able to pass physical exam
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors
• Ability to solve technical issues in the field
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience
• Must be willing to travel

Nice To Haves

• PMI certification preferred
• Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform various nondestructive inspections at a client facility under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently
• Prepare NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner
• Interface with clients on technical matters involving NDE procedures and capabilities
• Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers
• Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE technologies that may be applicable in our business
• Apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test results
• Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors
