About The Position

Advance Onsite Protection Security (AOP Security) is currently hiring Level 2 Patrol Officers to join our team. Patrol Officers are responsible for protecting client properties, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and maintaining a professional security presence at multiple locations.

Requirements

Must have a current New Mexico Level 2 Security Guard Card
Valid driver's license required
Must have a good driving record to be approved for a Patrol Officer position
Must be able to safely operate a company patrol vehicle
Ability to meet AOP Security's requirements for operating company patrol vehicles

Nice To Haves

Previous security, patrol, law enforcement, or related experience is a plus
Familiarity with security equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols of assigned properties
Monitor properties for suspicious activity, trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns
Respond to calls and incidents as directed by Dispatch
Thoroughly inspect doors, windows, gates, parking areas, and other designated areas
Enforce client property rules and regulations professionally
Address and remove unauthorized or trespassing individuals when appropriate
Identify and report safety or facility concerns, including fire hazards, water leaks, damaged property, or unsecured areas
Contact or request emergency personnel when necessary
Complete accurate and detailed incident and patrol reports using company software
Maintain communication with Dispatch throughout the shift
Follow all AOP Security policies, procedures, and post orders
