About The Position

The Lessons Lead is responsible for providing a positive experience for customers and students by selling lesson and rehearsal packages, answering customer questions, and giving tours of the Lessons facility. The role supports student enrollment and curriculum sales, coordinates instructor and student schedules, and helps ensure facility systems and schedules operate effectively. The Lessons Lead also guides instructors and provides leadership, mentoring, and feedback to help the team meet its goals.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in musical instruction, administration, retail, or another non-instructional area.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Customer service skills and ability to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment.
• Ability to lead, manage, and mentor others, provide feedback, and develop direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Increase student enrollment in the lesson program by driving and maintaining sales and promotional programs.
• Sell rehearsal space.
• Communicate with parents and students to ensure a positive overall experience.
• Guide instructors, manage teaching and non-teaching schedules, and coordinate lesson schedules with instructor availability.
• Maintain and increase curriculum sales.
• Ensure systems are functioning properly.
• Maintain lesson and rehearsal schedules for the facility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
