About The Position

World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization seeking individuals with compassion and a commitment to justice to join their rapidly expanding team. The organization, founded after World War II, has a 80-year history of partnering with local churches in over 100 countries to foster thriving families and communities. Current programming includes humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening, and refugee & immigrant services. The LEP Program Supervisor will provide essential support, training, and supervision to LEP case managers, working closely with the LEP Program Manager to ensure effective program oversight and compliance with contracts. This role demands collaboration across World Relief staff to deliver high-quality services aligned with the organization's mission and policies. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home per week.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with web-based applications and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity, and experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations, including first-hand refugee experience.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in direct services and casefile maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR background check.
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support LEP case managers in partnership with the LEP Program Manager.
  • Ensure effective program oversight and contract compliance.
  • Collaborate with World Relief staff for coordinated, high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor daily work activities of direct reports.
  • Track and approve timesheets, including time off requests.
  • Monitor performance, including entering goals, progress check-ins, and conducting weekly or bi-weekly check-ins.
  • Document performance concerns.
  • Enter staff promotions, transitions, and separations in HRIS within the required timeframe.
  • Lead staff in a manner consistent with Christian values, including praying with staff, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to coordinate team, volunteer, and intern efforts.
  • Participate in World Relief Economic Empowerment related meetings.
  • Manage direct report PTO, timesheets, and overtime requests.
  • Distribute LEP referrals to case managers.
  • Oversee and manage Economic Empowerment case management services to ensure client needs are met.
  • Ensure staff connect clients to community resources and internal WR services via referral.
  • Advocate for clients to receive services.
  • Perform 1:1 meetings for professional development, coaching, and goal creation, including performance evaluations.
  • Provide ongoing support to staff for core services and case management.
  • Problem-solve with staff and provide regular updates to the Director.
  • Schedule and provide trainings to improve service quality, strengths-based and trauma-informed care approaches, and staff skills/knowledge of resources.
  • Develop detailed program guidelines, procedures, workflows, and training supports for staff.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the LEP program.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of Intent to Continue applications, program applications, and monitoring documentation.
  • Support monitoring preparation and follow-up activities in coordination with the Director and LEP Program Manager.
  • Explore ways to engage and empower volunteers and interns to meet client/department needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison with ORIA and represent World Relief in external meetings, including DSHS Partners Meetings.
  • Share communication, updates, and program information with internal staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with community partners and other service providers to ensure clients are connected to appropriate services.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with partner organizations.
  • Engage with new employers and steward existing employer relationships in collaboration with the Employer Relations Team.
  • Coordinate employer meetings, including site visits and office visits.
  • Direct the daily activities of direct reports, including prioritizing work responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the coordination and management of program initiatives, events, and developing projects.
  • Provide supervision to interns and volunteers within the program.
  • Take between one and three employment cases if needed.
  • Attend trainings and conferences as requested by the department director.
