The LEP Program Supervisor provides supervision, training, and support to LEP case managers in close partnership with the LEP Program Manager to ensure effective program oversight and contract compliance. This role requires ongoing collaboration across World Relief staff to support coordinated, high-quality service delivery aligned with organizational mission and policies. Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day work from home/week

  • Cultural sensitivity, and experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations, including first-hand refugee experience
  • At least two years of relevant experience in direct services and casefile maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR background check
  • some evening or weekend work may be required

Responsibilities

  • Supervising others and includes responsibilities consistent with supervising employees, including but not limited to monitoring daily work activities, tracking and approving timesheets including approving time off, monitoring performance including entering goals, progress check-ins, and weekly or bi-weekly check-ins, documenting performance concerns, entering staff promotions, transitions, and separations in HRIS within required time frame.
  • Leading staff in a manner consistent with our Christian values, including but not limited to praying with staff, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment in interactions with staff throughout World Relief.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to coordinate team/volunteer/intern efforts.
  • Participate in all World Relief Economic Empowerment related meetings whether internally or in the community.
  • Manage direct report PTO, timesheets and overtime requests.
  • Distribute LEP referrals as appropriate to case managers.
  • Directly oversee and manage Economic Empowerment case management services to ensure that service needs are met; ensure EE staff are connecting clients to resources within our community and/or within WR office services via referral process; Advocate for clients to receive services.
  • Perform 1:1 meetings as necessary for professional development/coaching/goal creation: performance evaluations with direct reports.
  • Provide staff with ongoing support for the delivery of core services and case management.
  • Provide support to EE staff, problem solve with staff and provide regular updates to the Director.
  • Schedule/provide trainings to improve service quality and operations, to improve strengths-based and trauma informed care approaches in casework, and to improve skills and knowledge of resources; develop detailed program guidelines, procedures, workflows, and training supports for staff.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the LEP program as needed to improve program efficiency, ensure compliance, and support consistent service delivery.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of Intent to Continue applications, program applications, and monitoring documentation, and support monitoring preparation and follow-up activities in coordination with the Director and LEP Program Manager.
  • In collaboration with LEP case managers, explore ways to engage and empower volunteers and interns to meet client/department needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison with ORIA and represent World Relief in external meetings, including DSHS Partners Meetings, ensuring communication, updates, and program information are shared with internal staff as needed.
  • Actively collaborate with community partners and other service providers to ensure clients are connected to appropriate services and to maintain strong working relationships with partner organizations such as IRC and Career Path Services.
  • Engage with new employers and help steward existing employer relationships in collaboration with the Employer Relations Team within the Economic Empowerment Department.
  • Coordinate employer meetings, including site visits and office visits, to strengthen partnerships and employment opportunities for clients.
  • Direct the daily activities of direct reports including prioritizing daily and weekly work responsibilities, which will require ongoing and active communication with the LEP Program Manager.
  • Contribute to the coordination and management of program initiatives, events, and developing projects, demonstrating flexibility to support evolving program needs.
  • Provide supervision to interns and volunteers within the program as needed.
  • Take between one and three employment cases if needed.
  • Attend trainings and conferences as requested by the department director.
