About The Position

Join SC State Credit Union as a Lending Specialist, helping members achieve their financial goals by providing service, tailoring financial solutions, and building lasting relationships. The Lending Specialist assists with loan reviews to ensure quality and adherence to loan policies. The role also trains staff on credit union lending policies, procedures, systems, and processes; ensures compliance with regulations; maintains accurate records; and contributes to a positive and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a consumer lending environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, including when handling loan applications and maintaining records.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to understand and act on available and retained information.
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
