The Lending Solutions Specialist performs all functions and duties involved with servicing of delinquent non-real estate personal and business loans. This role assists leadership with repossession duties as assigned. The specialist communicates with customers via mail, email, or phone to encourage payment of delinquent accounts, answers customer inquiries, and resolves problems. They complete online maintenance for extensions and other changes, and work to prevent further bank loss by avoiding charge-offs and repossessions. Responsibilities include receiving bankruptcy notices, completing reaffirmation agreements, and working with the legal system on bankruptcy plans. The role also involves performing file maintenance, monitoring loans under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, and following policies for non-accrual loans, including monthly reporting and tracking. File maintenance for the DNA system, responding to consumer disputes via E-Oscar, and imaging customer correspondence are also key duties. Additionally, the specialist prepares loan files for repossession, including market analysis of collateral, and orders repossessions through outside vendors. They assist in preparing and distributing reports on collection, charge-off, and repossession activity. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service, building relationships, demonstrating reliability, complying with policies and regulations, maintaining attention to detail, exercising sound judgment, and utilizing AI-enabled tools responsibly.
