About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Lego Robotics Instructor to lead after-school classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching the fundamentals of robotics using Lego materials, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Classes are held in Brooklyn, NY, on Tuesdays from October to May.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5 age range.
- Familiarity with Lego robotics or similar STEM educational tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage young learners.
- Reliable and punctual.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a robotics instructor.
- Knowledge of various Lego robotics platforms (e.g., Mindstorms, WeDo).
- Background in education or a related STEM field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct Lego Robotics classes for students in grades K-5.
