About The Position

Tower Water is seeking a candidate to join our compliance division as a Legionella Sampling Technician. This role is responsible for performing Legionella culture sampling in accordance with local legislation to ensure cooling tower systems meet mandatory testing requirements. The position involves conducting field sampling, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting compliance reporting. The ideal candidate will understand Legionella sampling requirements, meet deadlines, and provide reliable data. This is a full-time, entry-level, field-based position with training provided.

7G Pesticide License
Experience in water treatment, environmental sampling, HVAC systems, or DOHMH regulated cooling tower programs
2 Year Technical Degree or advanced

Responsibilities

Perform Legionella culture sampling for all assigned systems.
Conduct resamples in accordance with local laws, rules, and regulations.
Follow proper chain of custody procedures, sample handling, and transport protocols.
Collect additional microbial or water quality samples as required.
Weekly Monitoring of cooling tower systems including visual inspections, chemical inventory monitoring, reviewal of treatment chemicals in use, and bacteria testing.
Communicate and coordinate with our water treatment and construction divisions.
Support for field compliance auditor.
Educating Customers on the provided services.
Other duties as needed.
