About The Position

The Legal Team Intern will work closely with our General Counsel. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain direct mentorship from seasoned professionals and valuable exposure to legal operations within a global logistics organization.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in corporate law, compliance, or the transportation and logistics industry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with contract review, editing, and organization.
• Conducting research on transportation laws, labor regulations, and international trade compliance.
• Supporting the preparation of documentation related to claims, disputes, and contract negotiations.
• Updating legal files and ensuring document accuracy within company systems.
• Collaborating with the Legal Team and General Counsel to review current processes and suggest improvements.
• Monitoring and analyzing regulatory updates that impact supply chain and logistics operations.
