About The Position

King Courier is seeking a professional, organized, and highly dependable individual to support our legal courier services and general office operations in San Francisco. King Courier is the San Francisco Bay Area’s most reliable messenger, courier, and delivery service. For more than 30 years, we have helped law firms, businesses, healthcare organizations, and other clients complete time-sensitive deliveries and service requests accurately, professionally, and on time. We do not just deliver packages—we solve our customers’ problems. This is an in-person full-time position. The primary responsibility of this position is to process court filing, service-of-process, and related legal-support requests. The selected candidate will receive hands-on training from an experienced team member and will help document important procedures and institutional knowledge. This is not a traditional paralegal position. The role does not primarily involve legal research, legal advice, or drafting legal documents. It is best suited for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with documents and technology, and able to accurately manage time-sensitive customer requests. The employee may also assist with dispatch, human resources, and general administrative responsibilities as business needs arise.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-5 years experience in previous administrative, customer-service, legal-support, dispatch, document-processing, or office experience preferred
  • Technology: Comfortable using email, web-based platforms, printers, scanners, PDF software, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization: Able to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and priorities accurately
  • Judgment: Able to recognize missing information, ask appropriate questions, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Confidentiality: Able to handle sensitive customer, employee, and legal information responsibly
  • Legal: Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Background: A conditional offer is contingent on a job-related background check. Convictions are assessed individually and do not automatically disqualify a candidate.
