About The Position

As a Legal Specialist in the Legal Department, you will play a key role in supporting company-wide operational initiatives related to contractor and business licensing, corporate registrations, and entity management. Working closely with the Legal Department and Congruex Regional Operations, you will help ensure the Company maintains required licenses, registrations, and tax identification information across the jurisdictions in which it operates. In addition to these primary responsibilities, you will support a variety of legal, compliance, and operational projects, providing hands-on experience with the broad range of work performed by an in-house legal department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation, submission, renewal, and maintenance of contractor, engineering, business, and other regulatory licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support corporate entity management activities, including maintaining federal employer identification numbers (FEINs), state registrations, and related corporate records.
  • Coordinate with Congruex Regional Operations, Finance, and other business partners to gather information and ensure timely completion of licensing, registration, and compliance requirements.
  • Research and analyze legal and regulatory issues impacting the Company's business operations.
  • Assist with the administration and continuous improvement of legal department processes and systems, including contract management and document organization.
  • Review, edit, and prepare legal documents and commercial agreements as directed.
  • Provide support for litigation, employment, compliance, and other legal matters, including document collection, organization, and legal research.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned in support of the Legal Department and the Company's business objectives.
