This position reports directly to the Office Administrator with oversight by the Assistant Office Administrator. Work is primarily sedentary in nature; no special demands are required. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years clerical experience in an office setting
  • Able to use and create documents using Word Perfect 12, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to multi-task and organize work
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Any equivalent training, knowledge, and experience
  • Minimum keyboard requirement: 50 WPM
  • Will be subjected to security and background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • relevant post high education and training is desirable
  • Knowledge of Criminal Justice Systems and its related forms beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Bill of Information for all General Unit cases to proceed through the Court System
  • Requesting discovery from Police Depts. attaching to file, copying and sending to Def. Atty.
  • Sends subpoenas for witnesses/victims, and victim packets on required files.
  • Run priors for all Drug Unit cases, and also run priors for assigned Block Hearings on a daily basis
  • Learning Extraditions & Summary Appeals
  • Scanning current files
  • Filing of dead files, bench warrants & pending cases
  • Help with the Main Phones when needed
