About The Position

Terra Nova is expanding and we’re hiring experienced Legal Scopists who deliver accurate, consistent, client‑ready transcripts. If you have 2+ years of recent legal transcription, scoping, or court reporting experience, send an updated resume that clearly reflects this experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years recent verbatim legal transcription/scoping/court reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of legal formats + terminology
• Ability to produce 300+ pages per week
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must live in the United States
• Intel i5 or better or AMD Ryzen 5 or above (minimum 2GHz)
• 250 GB hard drive or larger
• 12 GB RAM minimum (16 GB recommended)
• Windows 10 version 22H2 or Windows 11
• Sound card with speakers or stereo headphones
• Monitor resolution 1920 x 1080 or higher
• Internet speed at least 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
• Macintosh computers are not supported

• MAXScribe experience preferred
