About The Position

We’re looking for Freelance Legal Recruiters who understand the legal talent market and are interested in working with law firms, legal departments, and other organizations seeking high-quality legal professionals. As a Freelance Legal Recruiter with HireHawk, you’ll independently source, engage, and qualify legal talent for active opportunities. This role is designed for recruiters who value flexibility and want the ability to work remotely, manage their own recruiting activity, and earn through successful placements.

Requirements

Experience in legal recruiting is a must.
Familiarity with law firms, corporate legal departments, or the broader legal talent market.
Strong sourcing and candidate-engagement skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to build trusted professional relationships.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Strong judgment, professionalism, and respect for confidential information.

Nice To Haves

Existing relationships within the legal community and experience recruiting within specific practice areas or geographic markets are a big plus.

Responsibilities

Source and engage qualified legal candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, databases, and other recruiting channels.
Build and maintain relationships with attorneys and other legal professionals.
Evaluate candidates based on experience, practice area, qualifications, career objectives, and fit for available opportunities.
Conduct initial candidate conversations and screening.
Present qualified candidates for relevant roles through HireHawk.
Maintain clear and timely communication throughout the recruiting process.
Develop your own network and pipeline of legal talent.
Represent opportunities professionally and maintain candidate confidentiality.
Stay informed about hiring trends and talent movement within the legal market.
