About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Remote Legal Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for a law firm. This role is well-suited for a professional, detail-oriented individual who can communicate clearly, handle sensitive information with discretion, and provide excellent client service in a legal setting. Full training is provided, and prior legal experience is not required. As a Legal Receptionist, you will manage incoming calls and emails, assist with client communications, and support the firm’s administrative and intake processes. Your professionalism and attention to detail will help ensure clients feel supported from their very first interaction.

Requirements

  • Professional, courteous communicator with strong phone etiquette
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent grammar and spelling
  • Comfortable working evening hours aligned with U.S. business operations
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn legal workflows and systems
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to remain focused throughout the workday
  • Commitment to avoiding social media and distractions during work hours
  • Computer with SSD (500GB or higher) and at least 16GB RAM, capable of running Windows 11 or newer
  • Mouse, webcam, and noise-canceling headset
  • Reliable high-speed fiber internet (minimum 100 Mbps) with a wired Ethernet connection
  • Backup power solution (UPS or inverter)

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally on behalf of a law firm
  • Handle a high volume of calls and emails related to legal inquiries
  • Respond to client and prospective client inquiries within established timeframes
  • Accurately log all calls, emails, and client communications
  • Screen and route inquiries according to legal intake guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Assist with administrative tasks and internal process documentation
  • Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
