About The Position

As a Legal Protection Consultant, you will provide legal advice to policyholders who benefit from legal assistance and those who hold legal protection insurance. Additionally, you will advise them on the application and follow-up of their insurance policy.
This is a temporary position for a minimum duration of 12 months.

Requirements

• University degree in law.
• Member of the Quebec Bar.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in relevant functions.
• Intermediate proficiency in English, oral only, due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers, or to meet the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone legal advice to policyholders and assist them in resolving their situations.
• Determine the applicable coverage for submitted disputes.
• Advise policyholders on the application of the legal insurance contract.
• Ensure the follow-up of external consultations and contentious files with policyholders and external lawyers.
• Confirm and authorize the reimbursement of fees, legal costs, and expert assessments.
• Collaborate in the writing of legal columns and participate in the training of insurance agents.
• Collaborate in the development of the legal insurance product.
