About The Position
Terac is conducting a paid engagement to evaluate specialized legal workflows and establish benchmarks for complex legal reasoning and document analysis. The work supports the improvement of software tools designed for legal professionals. Participants complete specialized legal tasks and workflows tailored to their expertise. Working remotely, they analyze provided materials, draft responses, and structure legal arguments based on prompts. Tasks adapt to participants’ domain knowledge. The engagement involves a flexible, ongoing weekly commitment tracked with software-based time tracking. The opportunity is intended for practicing attorneys, legal scholars, paralegals, specialists with deep domain expertise, specialized consultants, and compliance experts who regularly handle rigorous legal reasoning. Compensation is $112 per hour.
Requirements
- Professional experience in a specialized legal domain or active legal practice.
- Comfort completing rigorous legal reasoning and analysis tasks independently.
- Ability to commit to flexible weekly hours on an ongoing basis.
- Familiarity with tracking work hours through remote software tools.
- Demonstrable experience navigating complex legal subject matter and drafting professional legal documentation.
