The National Health Law Program (NHeLP) is seeking up to four paid legal interns for Summer 2027. These internships are fully remote, requiring a 37.5-hour per week commitment for 10 weeks. NHeLP is a national legal and policy advocacy nonprofit founded in 1969, dedicated to protecting and advancing the health rights of low-income and underserved individuals and families. The organization works to enhance equitable access to quality health care and protect legal rights through advocacy, education, and litigation. NHeLP operates through three strategy areas: Federal Advocacy Strategy Area (FASA), Enforcement and Litigation Strategy Area (ELSA), and California Advocacy Strategy Area (CASA). Interns will be primarily based in one strategy area but will have opportunities to collaborate across the organization. NHeLP is committed to health equity and fostering an inclusive organizational environment.
