Join arrivia's Legal Department this summer for a 10-week, hands-on internship that will provide you with invaluable experience in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment. This isn't just about observation; you'll be actively involved in real-world legal projects, focusing on contract analysis and corporate legal functions. At arrivia, we're transforming the travel industry. As a Corporate Law Intern, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our legal team, gaining exposure to the intricacies of corporate legal operations within the unique travel-tech market.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a 2L or 3L law student.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in corporate law.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Availability to work up to 40 hours per week for 10 weeks.
- Ability to work on-site at our Scottsdale, AZ office.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- A genuine passion for learning and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to interact professionally with lawyers and executive leaders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and organize vendor and member-facing agreements.
- Draft responses to legal correspondence and address consumer inquiries.
- Conduct research and analysis on employment law matters.
- Conduct targeted legal research projects.
- Report directly to the General Counsel and work on a significant legal project.
- Learn how a corporate legal team collaborates with other departments.
