About The Position

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Legal team for an 8-week internship in the Summer of 2027. The internship will be located in our corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA and follows a hybrid schedule with remote work on Tuesdays and Fridays. Your education is just beginning! Join our dynamic Legal team, where you’ll tackle real-world challenges through impactful assignments and help our company continue to build some of the world’s most iconic aircrafts. You’ll play a key role in helping Howmet Aerospace continue its long-standing legacy of innovation and success. As a Legal intern, you’ll have the chance to work with leaders across the company, while working alongside our Legal team. Our legal interns gain hands-on experience in corporate law, contract management, intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Internships typically run in the months of June, July, or August.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a JD program at an accredited law school (ideally a rising 3L in the Summer of 2027)
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to contribute
Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
