Requirements

  • Students pursuing or interested in pre-law, legal studies, compliance or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Interest in legal, compliance, and corporate governance
  • Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn in a dynamic business setting

Responsibilities

  • Support due diligence efforts by reviewing contracts, corporate records, and regulatory filings related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Assist in drafting litigation summaries, organizing case files, and tracking deadlines to support active litigation matters.
  • Help maintain corporate records, prepare board resolutions, and ensure compliance with governance protocols.
  • Provide general assistance to business units, including contract review, research, and issue spotting.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to develop, update, and maintain policies, training materials, and monitoring tools, and assist with compliance reporting and risk assessments.
