About The Position

The ACLU-PA invites third-year law students and recent law school graduates who are eligible to apply for a two-year fellowship at the ACLU-PA. This position would be for 12-24 months, depending on the length of fellowship program sponsorship, and will start in fall 2027. The Legal Fellow position will be a project-based fellowship, and the selected applicant will work with ACLU-PA to seek funding from public interest fellowship organizations such as Equal Justice Works, the Independence Foundation, and/or Skadden. Applicants should specify in their application materials which of the following areas they are interested in: criminal legal reform, immigrants’ rights, free-speech rights, and/or voting rights.
