Legal Expert - Legal, Risk & Compliance
About The Position
Turing is seeking experienced legal professionals to generate, evaluate, and refine expert-level tasks related to lawyers’ work. The role requires strong legal expertise and the ability to produce technically accurate, practical, high-quality legal tasks and solutions. The expert will create tasks and solutions across contract, litigation-support, and legal-research workflows; evaluate and refine work for accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability; and work under senior review, incorporating calibration feedback to improve task quality. The role applies rubric standards and guidance established by the Functional SME (Expert) Lead and requires consistent, high-quality outputs that meet task-specific requirements and deadlines. This is a pay-per-task contract engagement, compensated at $400 per approved task, with a stated timezone of PST. The contract is expected to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
- JD or equivalent legal qualification.
- Active US bar admission.
- Strong experience in contract drafting, litigation support, and legal research.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and translate them into practical, high-quality tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, written communication, and legal reasoning.
- Ability to incorporate feedback.
Nice To Haves
- 3–8 years of legal practice, preferably at the Associate level.
