About The Position

We are hiring a Legal Engagement Manager on our Customer team, bridging Centari's AI technology and our AmLaw 100 client base by working directly with senior legal executives to define data requirements and expand value. You will lead the project management of Centari’s client-facing engagements, translating complex client needs into technical requirements, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships with partners at the world's most prestigious firms. While you will collaborate closely with our technical teams to deliver solutions, your primary focus is as the face of Centari's implementation team to our enterprise clients, driving successful rollouts and building long-term partnerships.

Requirements

You have run a complex, multi-stakeholder project end to end where the path wasn't clear at the start. Come with the specific example: what you inherited, what you decided, what it cost, what it produced.
4+ years in project management, client engagement, or operations in enterprise software, professional services, or a similarly high-complexity service environment.
You have worked at an early-stage company where the processes you needed didn't exist yet. Come with an example of something you built from scratch and why it held up.
You've managed multiple concurrent client workstreams under competing priorities and delivered on time without cutting quality.
Strong executive-level communication to run meetings with key stakeholders and write a crisp status update in the same afternoon.
Based in NYC or willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with how law firms operate — their hierarchy, workflows, practice groups, and what senior attorneys actually care about — is preferred, though not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Client delivery. Every active engagement runs on time, at quality, and with the client fully informed. When something slips, you see it first and fix it preemptively.
The operational infrastructure. The workflows, templates, and tracking systems that let our implementation team scale engagements without creating chaos. You build what doesn't exist and improve what does.
The health of the portfolio. On-time deliveries, client satisfaction, open requests, and escalations are your numbers. You own the answer when someone asks how a specific implementation project is going.
Client-to-team translation. You are the path between what a client needs and what our Applied Legal Research team builds. Requirements that reach the team from you are specific, prioritized, and actionable.
Business reviews. You prepare and run the reviews that show clients the value of what's been delivered, document ROI, and support conversations about what comes next.
