Legal Counsel

BrillioDallas, TX
Onsite

About The Position

Brillio is building a legal function that operates as a business enabler. This role is designed for an early-career lawyer who wants to work directly with business teams on contracts, deals, and decisions. The role involves reviewing and negotiating contracts, partnering with sales, finance, and delivery teams on deal execution, evaluating and prioritizing legal risk versus business outcomes, building and improving templates, clause libraries, and playbooks, supporting compliance areas (data privacy, employment, cross-border basics), and contributing to legal operations efficiency (standardization, speed, simplification). This role is not litigation-focused, purely advisory or academic, or a back-office function removed from the business. The company is not hiring for experience alone but for potential, judgment, and the ability to operate in ambiguity. This role requires someone who can operate at the intersection of legal, business, and execution, early in their career, but ready to own outcomes. This will require the ability to deliver faster, operate in a culturally diverse leadership team, and navigate through a dynamic business environment. Applicants should only apply if they are willing to thrive in such an environment. Brillio may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist the recruitment team but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
