About The Position

Provides a full range of legal advice and services as an attorney. May serve as counsel to a business unit or as a corporate-level subject matter expert in a particular legal discipline (e.g., employment law, intellectual property, or litigation).

Requirements

4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Doctorate Degree (Required)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Six (6) or more years Experience in related field (Required)
License to practice law in at least one state

Responsibilities

Performs the due diligence for and the negotiation and consummation of corporate mergers and acquisitions
Performs the due diligence for and the negotiation and consummation of corporate finance transactions
Serves as legal expert in ensuring compliance with the federal and state securities laws and regulations
Serves as legal expert in ensuring compliance with industry specific regulatory matters, such as Federal Energy Regulatory Commission filings
Addresses corporate governance matters, including dealings with the relevant Boards of Directors
