This role serves as a trusted legal advisor within Invesco's Legal team, partnering closely with colleagues across Product, Investments, Compliance, Finance, Distribution, and other business functions to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance on registered investment products and related regulatory matters. The position primarily supports Invesco's mutual funds, closed-end funds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), advising on disclosure, governance, product implementation, and other strategic legal and regulatory initiatives. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in overseeing the preparation and review of fund registration statements, shareholder reports, proxy materials, board materials, SEC filings, and other public disclosures, while helping to execute key product and corporate initiatives, including fund launches, mergers, reorganizations, and other activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile regulatory and business initiatives, collaborate with senior legal and business leaders, and gain broad exposure to the legal, operational, and strategic aspects of the investment management industry. The position will support the Assistant General Counsel, Disclosure, and a dynamic, collaborative team of legal professionals within Invesco’s broader U.S. Legal team. The role will provide thoughtful, pragmatic legal advice within Invesco’s Legal team and will actively engage with internal clients and other business partners across Invesco’s Product, Investments, Compliance, Finance, Distribution and other teams on disclosure and related matters for Invesco’s family of mutual funds, closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as well as other regulatory and corporate initiatives. The role includes providing legal advice and hands-on oversight of the preparation, supervision and review of fund registration and related disclosure materials, execution of product line changes, fund mergers and reorganizations, shelf offerings, shareholder proxy materials, shareholder reports, other Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings and public disclosure materials, and fund board materials.
