About The Position

The Legal Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the legal department by managing and organizing legal documents, coordinating communication between internal teams and external legal counsel, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for streamlining legal processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in handling contracts, case files, and other legal materials. The Legal Coordinator will serve as a key liaison, facilitating timely responses to legal inquiries and maintaining meticulous records to support ongoing and future legal matters. By proactively managing deadlines and legal workflows, the coordinator helps mitigate risks and supports the overall legal strategy of the organization. Ultimately, this role ensures that the legal team operates smoothly and effectively, contributing to the company’s compliance and risk management objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a legal support or coordination role within a corporate or law firm environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and basic legal procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills daily to manage complex legal documentation and coordinate between various stakeholders effectively.
  • Attention to detail is critical when reviewing contracts and legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office tools enables efficient document management and reporting.
  • Time management skills are essential to track deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Interpersonal skills facilitate smooth collaboration with internal teams and external counsel, ensuring that legal processes proceed without delay.
