The Jacksonville office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an Insurance Defense Legal Assistant. This role involves managing attorney calendars/scheduling, capturing attorney time, and drafting legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings, and reports. The ideal candidate will be task-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Prior experience in Insurance Defense General Liability and Personal Injury is preferred, along with a working knowledge of Florida Court procedures and familiarity with e-Service and e-Filing.

Requirements

3+ years of experience
Competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
Excellent communication skills
Ability to follow-up on items
Detail oriented
Task oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
Prior experience managing attorney calendars/scheduling
Prior experience capturing attorney time
Prior experience drafting legal documents including standardized letters and the framework for pleadings and reports
Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures
Familiarity with e-Service and e-Filing
