About The Position

Turner Henningsen Wolf & VanDenburg, LLP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant - Records to provide vital support to our legal team in the Downtown Los Angeles Office. This entry-level position is designed for candidates new to the legal profession, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a collaborative and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will assist in case records collection, document preparation and file management under the supervision of the senior paralegal.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research tools, and case management software.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of legal research databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of legal procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular case records collection by communicating with dealerships nationwide, preparing subpoenas for filing and service when necessary
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including correspondence and subpoenas, ensuring compliance with court requirements.
  • Organize and maintain electronic case files and assist in scheduling and tracking deadlines.
