About The Position

The State Attorney's Office, First Judicial Circuit is seeking to hire a Legal Support Supervisor in the Felony division in Pensacola, FL (Escambia). This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Legal Support Supervisors are responsible for providing supervisory oversight to the Legal Assistants and other support staff in the office. Duties involve monitoring employee performance, providing ongoing training, ensuring Assistant State Attorneys have the support they need for criminal court proceedings, and ensuring the office is appropriately staffed daily. This position will also serve as the Legal Assistant for the Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney, performing secretarial and clerical tasks related to criminal court proceedings, setting up and maintaining attorney calendars, document management, pulling files for the daily court calendar, and making travel arrangements. Duties also include screening calls, providing information to the general public, courtroom attendance, reviewing files, and preparing motions and orders.
