About The Position

Our Plantation office is looking for a dependable, organized Foreclosure Administrative Assistant to support our default, Foreclosure team. In this role, you will help manage client relationships, track file milestones, and ensure we meet important regulatory and client deadlines. You will serve as a key point of contact between our firm, mortgage servicers, and internal legal staff. If you have experience in the default servicing or legal field and are looking for a stable, growth-oriented role in a busy office, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Draft legal documents to support the operations of our Foreclosure department.
  • 2+ years of administrative or support experience in default services, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, or mortgage servicing.
  • Familiarity with standard default timelines and investor guidelines (such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or FHA) is helpful.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiar with legal case management or default servicing software.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills for dealing with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.
  • Able to work independently while being a strong team player in a busy office environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing or reviewing client scorecards and performance metrics.
  • A working knowledge of judicial and non-judicial foreclosure processes.
  • A background in financial services compliance or audit support.

Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents to support the operations of our Foreclosure department.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for institutional clients, answering inquiries via phone, email, and various online servicer portals.
  • Monitor client scorecards and reporting schedules, helping to clear out processing bottlenecks as they arise.
  • Keep track of active files against strict court and client timelines to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Assist with internal quality checks, client audits, and statutory compliance tasks.
  • Help put together case histories and pull reports for senior leadership.
  • Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and default staff to make sure legal filings are completed on time.
  • Monitor and respond to system alerts, client updates, and workflow changes.
