About The Position
This role involves assisting with various legal matters, including foreclosure and bankruptcy, and managing legal documentation and correspondence. The Legal Analyst will be responsible for tracking case status, preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining case files and databases. This is a contract position requiring onsite work in Indianapolis, IN.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of experience required.
- Paralegal degree or certificate required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other legal matters and responses.
- Track case status, deadlines, and property sales.
- Prepare and review contracts, releases, amendments, reports, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal and records research and verify documents for accuracy.
- Manage legal correspondence, filings, document transmittals, and records.
- Maintain case files and update contract and legal databases.
- Support counsel with document preparation, filing, and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate special projects, meetings, and related activities.
