The role will gain exposure to regulatory processes and energy market operations. Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
Requirements
- Strong time management skills with demonstrated capability to manage complex workload in a confident and efficient manner, with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and document management tools
- Proficiency utilizing Teams as both communication and document collaboration platform
- Strong proofreading skills
- Strong and confident communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience (including as Legal Analyst or Paralegal)
- Ability to work in open, collaborative environment with team first mentality
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the finalization, review, execution, and filing of agreements
- Draft transmittal letters and basic pleadings
- Coordinate filings to FERC and Federal and State courts
- With training, understand MISO Tariff structure and filing process
- Communicate filing requirements and timelines across the Legal team
