Legal AI Product Manager (Attorney)

The Suite
$120,000 - $200,000

About The Position

This role focuses on Lloyd, The L Suite's community-powered AI co-pilot for in-house legal professionals. Lloyd leverages a decade of peer discussions, vetted templates, outside counsel reviews, and benchmarking data from over 6,000 in-house legal leaders. Unlike other legal AI tools that answer 'what do we usually do?', Lloyd answers 'what does everyone else like us do?', differentiating itself through peer judgment in an era where foundation models are commoditizing legal work mechanics. The Legal AI Product Manager will be deeply familiar with Lloyd's system prompts, diagnose response quality issues, track AI releases, identify content gaps, and manage new feature launches with members and the public.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of legal experience, ideally spanning big law and in-house.
  • Experience shipping AI skills, agents, and workflows, with demonstrable artifacts like published Claude Skills, live GPTs and agents, built workflows and automations, contributed plugins and connectors, or posts about prompt experiments and evaluations.
  • Keeps current with AI technology, actively following influencers and evaluating new models and technologies.
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of writing launch posts, member emails, and feature specifications.
  • High agency and low ego, with the ability to run autonomously and execute effectively.
  • A community mindset and a passion for helping peer in-house counsel succeed.

Nice To Haves

  • A public body of work in the legal AI space (LinkedIn, X, blog).
  • Experience participating in a product launch, GTM motion, or community-led growth program.
  • An AI tool built and currently in use by individuals outside of the applicant.

Responsibilities

  • Act as User #1, utilizing legal background to rapidly test and iterate on new and existing features.
  • Collaborate in real-time with engineering, participating in the repo and iterating live on features.
  • Ship code and design prototypes, mocks, and feature drafts using Claude Code.
  • Manage member feedback to system updates, running design partner programs and evaluations to translate feedback into prompt, data, retrieval, and UI changes.
  • Manage system prompts and response quality, diagnosing and iterating on thin responses within Lloyd's extensive system prompts.
  • Identify and fill knowledge gaps in data, including member contributions, law firm partnerships, licensed data, original research, and event content.
  • Stay informed about AI advancements, translating new technologies into potential unlocks for Lloyd and bringing concrete proposals to the build team.
  • Drive activation, engagement, and adoption through owned channels like the Braintrust, all-member emails, and design partner amplification.
  • Serve as Lloyd's most visible advocate, managing marketing and voice through launch posts, member emails, LinkedIn presence, and podcasts.
