We are seeking a Legal Affairs Intern to support legal operations and contribute to compliance initiatives across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal research, document drafting, and corporate compliance within a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in law, with a strong interest in business law or commercial/civil litigation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
  • Proactive, adaptable and effective in dynamic environments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous legal experience, including internships or volunteer work, is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research related to company operations and provide clear, well-structured analysis
  • Draft and revise legal documents, including contracts, legal opinions, letters, and memos
  • Assist in organizing and preparing legal files and documentation
  • Support compliance initiatives and administrative tasks
  • Participate in meetings with internal clients and external partners
  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
