About The Position

The University of Alabama System (UA System) is seeking applications for the position of Legal Administrative Coordinator. This on-site role is based in Birmingham, Alabama, on the campus of The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Reporting to the Office Manager, the Legal Administrative Coordinator will provide a broad range of administrative support to multiple attorneys in the UAB Office of Counsel.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
  • Experience reviewing and revising various types of agreements.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience managing and maintaining corporate entity data and documents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential administrative support to multiple attorneys.
  • Review and revise various documents, including affiliation agreements, employment agreements, and confidential disclosure agreements.
  • Draft, manage, and maintain a large volume of corporate documents, including resolutions and bylaws.
  • Process various filings with the Alabama Secretary of State.
  • Maintain various departmental databases.
