Requirements

  • Education in Legal Administration, a Law Clerk program, or law-related field; formal education or certification is considered a strong asset
  • Experienced applicants should have a minimum of 2-3 years working as a Legal Administrative Assistant, Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant
  • Experience proactively managing and organizing operational and finance tasks
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize various new software programs utilized by the firm
  • Comfort in an environment of continuous learning with on-going formal and self-learning opportunities
  • Solution-oriented with sound judgement to make informed decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Solid organization, calendar, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Professional, responsive, friendly, and able to build productive relationships
