Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant with a focus on business litigation
Strong experience in litigation support and e-filing in FL
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience with document management systems, particularly iManage
Familiarity with appellate filings across Florida, in federal court, and in other states

Responsibilities

Supporting assigned attorneys with preparing, revising and proofreading and filing of documents
Scheduling and calendaring Court appearances, and depositions, travel and other meetings.
E-filing documents with Federal and Florida State Courts
Assisting with client billing
Preparation and submission of new client business intake and conflicts requests
Update attorneys’ calendars and contact lists
Assistance to other Legal Administrative Assistants and attorneys if necessary for overflow support
