We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Float Team in our Vancouver office.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a professional environment
  • Strong client service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with firm members at all levels
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight timelines
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Able to prioritize and to redefine priorities when necessary
  • Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Assist both legal professionals and assistants within various practice groups
  • Drafting and preparing letters, memos and correspondence as directed by legal professionals
  • Maintaining hard copies and electronic files for legal professionals and assistants
  • Coordinating administrative tasks, such as time opening and close of files
  • Processing billable and non-billable time and invoices
  • Scanning, copying and filing as required
  • Other duties as assigned.
