The firm is actively searching for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) to join its dynamic team in its Minneapolis, MN office. Legal administrative assistants play a vital role on case teams and are respected for their ideas and contributions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Confidence and communication skills will help the candidate develop strong professional relationships with the team.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • 4-8 years of legal experience required
  • Civil Litigation experience required
  • Knowledge of Florida Court system required
  • Demonstrated employment stability

Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence
  • File documents in state and federal courts
  • Prepare binders for attorneys and judges
  • Create and save documents and emails to iManage (document management system) in accordance with firm policy
  • Obtain documents from online court directories
  • Schedule meetings and other calendar commitments
  • Calendar legal due dates in CompuLaw
  • Make travel arrangements and process expense reports
  • Process client disbursements
  • Organize and maintain case files
