About The Position

Assist with case management from initial filing through resolution. Manage all aspects of state and federal electronic filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Prepare, proofread and format legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs with meticulous attention to detail. Conduct basic legal research and assist with summarizing relevant case law and statutes. Assist with discovery requests, responses, and depositions by gathering and organizing materials. Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, correspondence, and litigation documents, ensuring efficient document management. Prepare trial exhibits and presentations. Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and court personnel. Manage attorney calendars and schedules, schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or similar field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
  • Strong technological aptitude and comfort learning new systems
  • Exemplary organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
