About The Position

This position involves performing advanced poolside and water safety duties, monitoring water activities to ensure safety, and providing close supervision, training, and evaluation for all lifeguards. The Head Lifeguard will also direct and perform general upkeep and custodial duties, as well as other tasks assigned by aquatics managers. The role operates under the general supervision of the Legacy Center supervisor over aquatics and/or Aquatics Managers.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school
• 2 years of aquatics experience
• Have a current Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent
• Must know the rules and regulations of the aquatics facility
• Must have leadership skills
• Be available to work Monday - Saturday, 4:30 am - 11 pm
• Must pass a background check and a drug test

Nice To Haves

• Most availability between 4:45 am - 9 am
