About The Position

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) occasionally seeks applicants for full-time, term appointments as lecturers, visiting faculty, clinical faculty (School of Nursing, School of Education), and academic professional track (College of Arts & Sciences, School of Music, Theatre and Dance, School of Health and Human Sciences). These are non-tenure-track appointments that may be renewed based on continued need, satisfactory performance, and funding availability. Positions can be for day or evening shifts. The minimum degree required is often a doctorate or terminal degree, though a Master’s degree may suffice for some positions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse academic setting is highly desirable. For the 2026-2027 academic year, positions may be available in various disciplines and departments across several schools and colleges, including the College of Arts & Sciences, Bryan School of Business and Economics, School of Education, School of Health and Human Sciences, College of Visual and Performing Arts, School of Nursing, and the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering.

Requirements

  • Minimum degree requirements are determined by the specific position classification and could be a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an academic setting that is ethnically/culturally diverse is highly desirable.
