About The Position

The Department of Public Administration at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for a Full Time Lecturer position to begin August 2026. CSUSB is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution with a diverse student population and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The department seeks an energetic and innovative educator qualified to teach NASPAA and AACSB accredited courses in both upper division undergraduate and Master’s level public administration. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and public service practitioner experience. The teaching load for a Full Time Lecturer begins at a 5/5 load, but may be reduced through other duties, including large class courses and service releases. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and community leaders within the Inland Empire region of CA.

Requirements

  • A terminal degree in Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field by time of appointment.
  • Qualified to teach NASPAA and AACSB accredited courses in both upper division undergraduate and Master’s level public administration.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to mentoring a diverse student population.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and community leaders within the Inland Empire region of CA.
